Apart from Qatar, who fell to Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group B, and Japan, who were eliminated by Brazil in the round of 32, the other Asian teams were eliminated either directly or indirectly by African teams.

① Jordan 🤺 Algeria

In the second round of the Group J group stage, Algeria defeated Jordan 2-1. Jordan were eliminated early, finishing last, while Algeria ultimately qualified.

② Iraq vs. Senegal

In the final decisive match of Group I, Senegal defeated Iraq 5-0 to qualify in third place, while Iraq finished last and was eliminated.

③ Saudi Arabia 🤺 Cape Verde

In the decisive Group H match, Cape Verde drew 0-0 with Saudi Arabia, qualifying in second place while sending Saudi Arabia to the bottom of the group and out of the competition.

④ Uzbekistan & South Korea 🤺 DR Congo

In the decisive final match of Group K, DR Congo came from behind to defeat Uzbekistan 3-1. DR Congo qualified in third place, while Uzbekistan finished last and was eliminated. DR Congo’s victory also eliminated South Korea.

⑤ South Korea vs. South Africa & DR Congo

South Korea lost 0-1 to South Africa in a decisive group stage match, entering the third-place ranking. After DR Congo's 3-1 comeback victory over Uzbekistan, South Korea was officially eliminated.

⑥ Iran 🤺 Egypt, Austria & Algeria

Iran drew 1-1 with Egypt in the decisive third round of the group stage, with Egypt qualifying in second place and Iran entering the third-place ranking. Algeria drew 3-3 with Austria, and together they eliminated Iran.

⑦ Australia 🤺 Egypt

Australia drew 1-1 with Egypt in the round of 32, eventually losing 2-4 in a penalty shootout, marking the complete elimination of all AFC teams from this FIFA World Cup.
