Louis Saha has called on Manchester United to sign a midfielder with Premier League experience during their midfield rebuild, listing Guimaraes as a suitable candidate.

Arsenal are interested in signing French midfielder Koné, and Saha himself is a big admirer of the Roma star, but he believes Manchester United should prioritize signing a different type of midfielder.
The former Manchester United forward stated that Premier League experience is crucial and believes Guimaraes is the right fit for the team's needs.
Earlier this year, the Newcastle United midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, and now Arsenal are pushing hard to sign the Brazilian international.
Saha said in an interview: "I'm not ruling out Koné, but honestly, I'd prefer the team to sign a midfielder with more experience in big games."
"He's talented and capable, and I'm not saying signing him would be a bad deal. It's just that the gap left by Casemiro's departure is too big, and we need a player with both experience and leadership, who can understand Carrick's tactical system and know their position and responsibilities on the field."
"The new signing to replace him must fit our tactical system established last season and also bring a better attacking and defensive balance to the midfield, all of which requires sufficient league experience as support."
"Players with Premier League experience would be a better fit for the team. Anderson was an excellent choice, and players like Guimaraes are also very suitable. These types of players have been tested in the league and are plug-and-play. The schedule for next season is very demanding, and we need new midfield signings who can immediately take on heavy responsibilities."
