After France defeated Paraguay 1-0, goalkeeper Orlando Gill responded to Mbappé's criticism of Paraguay's playing style, according to Globe Esporte.

Paraguayan goalkeeper Orlando Gill, who was named man of the match in France's FIFA World Cup match against Paraguay, responded to Mbappé's accusations that the Paraguayan team played "dirty." In Gill's view, the French team clearly disliked their opponents' style of play.
"I don't think they're used to this kind of game," Gill said in the mixed zone after the match. "In South America, we're used to it. Today it was clear he was troubled by this style of play. They don't like physical confrontation, but that's football."
Mbappé scored the only goal of the match, helping France to a 1-0 victory. After the match, Mbappé criticized Paraguay's playing style.

Mbappé said: "We knew what kind of game we were going to face. We were prepared to match their intensity. We knew how to play that way too. They thought we'd come unprepared, but we were ready. Even in this style of game, we were better than them. This is their football. There's no absolutely right or wrong way to play. They tried to provoke us, but we won."
France struggled to break through, eventually scoring from a penalty kick in the second half. They created another chance when Mbappé set up a teammate, but the striker's subsequent shot was saved twice brilliantly by Gill.
Mbappé was heavily marked by Paraguayan players throughout the match. After scoring, he provoked his opponents, laughing at them and refusing to shake hands with Gill after the final whistle.
