According to Bild, 51-year-old Zé Roberto lives in his villa in Alphaville, a suburb of São Paulo, where he has also built a football museum. On Saturday night, Bayer Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro came to visit, and the two watched the World Cup match between France and Paraguay together.

Zé Roberto played for Bayer Leverkusen for four years between 1998 and 2002, making 150 official appearances, scoring 19 goals and providing 45 assists. He won the Bundesliga runner-up title three times with Bayer Leverkusen and also reached the German Cup final and the 2002 Champions League final. Carro said: "The evening at Zé's house was fantastic, very family-like and interesting."
Carro and Zé Roberto also exchanged jerseys. The former international, who played 84 times for the Brazilian national team, gave Carro a signed Brazil national team jersey, while Zé Roberto received a Bayer Leverkusen jersey with the number 8 printed on it.
