Ake's wife Kaylee shared several photos on social media and wrote: "When we first arrived in Manchester, we were a young, newly engaged couple. Now, 6 years later, we are leaving as a family of four, our trophy cabinet full (really 😜), and countless wonderful moments and precious memories.

Since childhood, I have watched you strive day after day, working towards your goals. No words can express my pride in you, nor can they describe all that you have won and achieved here.

The Champions League title, the treble-winning season, and becoming the first team in history to win four consecutive league titles – all of this has made this journey incredibly wonderful.

One day, our two daughters will understand what their father has achieved, and they will surely be immensely proud of you.

It's wonderful to witness you and the team win every possible honor and continuously break records; what's even more wonderful is that we can share and celebrate all of this with the people here. Those friends eventually became family. 🩵

I am forever grateful to be a part of all this, grateful for everyone I met along the way, grateful for everyone we celebrated with, and grateful for all those beautiful moments.
