According to renowned journalist Romano, Al-Ahli and Sporting CP are in advanced talks for Trincão, and the player is willing to join.

Romano stated that Al-Ahli is in advanced talks to sign Trincão from Sporting CP. Negotiations between the two clubs are progressing, and the player himself is willing to transfer, with the transfer fee expected to be around 50 million euros. Trincão will be Mahrez's replacement at Al-Ahli.

Trincão is 26 years old, from Portugal, and plays as a midfielder. So far, the player has made 208 appearances for Sporting CP, scoring 47 goals and providing 51 assists. His current market value on Transfermarkt is 40 million euros.
