Speaking on Toni Kroos's podcast about French football's success, Wenger identifies "immigration" as one of the key factors behind it.

As a guest on the "Kroos & Kroos" podcast, hosted by veteran Toni Kroos, the 76-year-old former Arsenal manager explained his perspective on French football's success. Wenger believes that one of the key reasons lies in immigration and talent development: "I think our success comes from the quality of education, from the discovery of talent, which is neglected in many countries, and also from African immigration."

Wenger then outlined French football's history: "When you look at the history of French football, it is very closely linked to immigration. The first French Ballon d'Or winner, Kopa, was of Polish descent. Then there was Platini, with Italian immigrant heritage; then Zidane, with Algerian immigrant heritage. Papin was not an immigrant, then we had Benzema, with Algerian immigrant heritage, and now Dembélé, with African immigrant heritage."

Wenger added: "They come because they feel France has real potential in education, and they often have more drive because they know they have to give their all to succeed."

When Kroos asked, "So sometimes they think playing football is their path to a better life?", Wenger agreed.
