Sandro Tonali has officially become a Tottenham player and, after just one year, is once again the most expensive Italian player in history.

For the first time, an Italian player has been valued at €116 million: Retegui, who topped this special list just last summer, has now been surpassed. Leonardo Bonucci, signed by Milan in 2017 for €42 million, has also been pushed off the list.
Interestingly, Tonali appears twice on the list, both times in a podium position. The former Milan player is not only the most expensive Italian player but also the third most expensive, while Marco Palestra has dropped out of the top three.
