According to reports, Sporting CP are interested in signing Portuguese midfielder Palhinha and are currently in contract negotiations with him. He recently returned to Bayern after completing his loan spell at Tottenham.

Tottenham had a €30 million buyout clause for Palhinha but ultimately chose not to activate it. Instead, Tottenham spent €98 million this summer to sign Matheus Fernandes from Sporting CP's academy and also acquired Tonali for an even higher transfer fee.
