According to L'Équipe, Areola, who was not selected for France’s FIFA World Cup squad, has enjoyed a fulfilling summer in a different way. The West Ham United goalkeeper, 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, and DJ performed a set at a festival at Windsor Racecourse in England last weekend.

While his former France teammates are competing in the United States, Areola is enjoying his summer. The 33-year-old’s contract with West Ham United runs until June 2027, and the club has been relegated to the Championship. The former France goalkeeper is also a DJ and was invited to perform last weekend at the British music festival Celestry, held at Windsor Racecourse.
Areola said in a video posted on the festival's social media: "It's incredible here; the atmosphere is simply insane. Everyone enjoyed the music, and we received a very warm welcome. My children also came with me. I really enjoyed my performance. Although it was short, I hope to come back next year." This year, 21-year-old Robin Risser replaced Areola as France's third goalkeeper for this FIFA World Cup.
