According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, following a controversial incident last week, Juventus goalkeeper Di Gregorio proactively contacted Jonathan David, Openda, and Zhegrova in an effort to mend team relations.

Previously, Di Gregorio's agent made strong remarks on social media targeting these three Juventus players. Following the controversy, Di Gregorio first issued a public statement on social media before sending private WhatsApp messages to each of the three.
The report states that Di Gregorio apologized to his teammates in the messages, while also making it clear that he did not agree with his agent's relevant remarks and distanced himself from them.
David, Openda, and Zhegrova all accepted his apology and acknowledged his initiative in communicating. With that, the locker room dispute has largely come to an end.
