On July 6th,(CEST), Paris officially announced that 19-year-old goalkeeper Renato Marin has joined Portuguese Primeira Liga club Nacional da Madeira on loan.

Renato Marin has joined Nacional da Madeira on a one-season loan.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper will join PSG in July 2025 and spend the 2026-2027 season on loan at Portuguese Primeira Liga side Nacional da Madeira. The loan does not include a buy-out clause.

Renato Bellucci Marin, born in Sao Paulo on July 10, 2006, began playing football in Brazil at a young age. His outstanding physical condition and footwork quickly made him stand out. In 2020, his family moved to Rome, Italy, where he joined the Roma youth academy. In September 2022, he made his Roma U17 debut in a match against Lecce. In the 2022-2023 season, he played 15 games for the U17s, won the league final against Inter, and also made 3 appearances for Roma U18.

On January 7, 2024, in Roma's home match against Atalanta, 17-year-old Renato Marin was included in the first-team squad for the first time. During the 2023-2024 season, he was the starting goalkeeper for the Roma youth team, playing 39 matches throughout the year and keeping 13 clean sheets.

Due to his outstanding performances, he was called up to the Italy U19 national team in September 2023. The goalkeeper has excellent ball distribution skills with his feet and has played 12 matches for the national youth team. At the 2024 U19 European Championship, he was a key player, helping the team reach the semi-finals.

During the 2024-2025 season, the then-19-year-old was included in Ranieri's Roma first-team squad 28 times and was called up for all 6 Europa League group-stage matches; he also made 11 appearances for the Roma youth team.

In July 2025, Renato Marin officially joined PSG. In December 2025, he made his competitive first-team debut in a 4-0 French Cup victory over Fontenay. In May 2026, he went on to play two Ligue 1 matches: a 2-2 draw against Lorient and a 1-0 victory over Brest. During the 2025-2026 season, he spent an extended period training and playing with the Paris youth academy, fully demonstrating his potential. He also won the UEFA Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup, French Super Cup, Ligue 1 title, and Champions League with the team, adding multiple trophies to his honors.
