According to Portuguese media outlet A Bola, Turkish club Trabzonspor are monitoring Benfica winger Gianluca Prestianni, hoping to bring the young Argentine to the Süper Lig. However, the transfer has not yet entered the formal negotiation phase.

Trabzonspor hopes that Prestianni will become teammates with Cape Verde international Cabral, who scored a spectacular goal against Argentina at the World Cup.

Benfica are aware of Trabzonspor's interest but have not yet received a formal offer or entered into negotiations with the club. Benfica also deny having valued Prestianni at 20 million euros, a figure previously circulated mainly by Turkish media.

Only 20 years old, Prestianni has gradually earned more first-team opportunities since joining Benfica from Vélez Sarsfield. His ability to play on both wings, along with his speed, dribbling skills, and development potential, has kept him on the radar of other European clubs.

Benfica's coaching change could also affect Prestianni's future. Portuguese media reports that Marco Silva, who will succeed Mourinho as head coach, has included the Argentine winger in his plans for next season, and the club currently has no intention of actively trying to sell him.

However, Benfica may still consider an offer if it meets their financial requirements. Trabzonspor is considering submitting a formal proposal and is capable of offering Prestianni a contract significantly higher than his current remuneration.

Prestianni previously played for Benfica's B team and gradually worked his way into the first-team rotation. He was also included in Argentina's 55-player preliminary squad before the World Cup and hopes to further cement his place in the team in the new season.

Trabzonspor are indeed interested in signing Prestianni, but negotiations have not yet begun. Benfica believe he still has significant room for growth and plan for him to compete for playing time in the new season. River Plate had also previously shown interest in the player during the transfer market.
