On June 17, after visiting BYD's Brazilian factory, the Chinese youth footballers arrived at Bahia Football Club in Brazil, BYD's strategic partner.

If the previous matches against São Paulo, Santos, and Palmeiras allowed the young players to experience firsthand the intensity of matches against Brazil's top youth academies, this visit to Bahia gave them a more complete understanding of how a Brazilian club develops young players.

Upon arriving at the club, the young players took an in-depth tour of Bahia's youth training system, learning how local players of the same age typically train and compete while gaining a close-up feel for the rhythm and details of daily Brazilian football.

For the young footballers, observing from the sidelines during training also proved highly beneficial. The choice of pass and reception, the timing of an off-ball run, or how to handle a situation after a tackle all helped them realize that Brazilian football is not just about talent and inspiration, but also stems from long-term immersion in the football environment and day-after-day training.

Subsequently, the young players trained alongside local players of the same age, exchanged technical and tactical insights, made friends, and honed their skills in a friendly match.

Facing their Bahia counterparts, they had to adapt to the freer, more flexible expression of Samba football and find their own rhythm in real confrontations.

In Bahia, the young players experienced not only football, but also the unique spirit of this land. There is a strong sense of integration and a determination not to give up easily in the face of difficulties. This culture, reflected in the tackling, running, and persistence on the football field, ultimately translates into every specific action.

This spirit also resonates with BYD's process of putting down roots in Brazil. Whether it is a Chinese brand entering the South American market or Chinese youth footballers stepping onto Brazilian pitches, neither is an easy task. True growth often comes from repeatedly venturing out and then turning what is learned into one's own experience.

On June 18, the Chinese youth footballers continued to face new opponents, playing a friendly match against Vitória Football Club.

Many consecutive days of training, visits, and matches had left the young players exhausted. But in the final stage in Brazil, they still needed to face teams with different styles and continue testing themselves in matches. At this point in the journey, winning or losing was no longer important. More importantly, could they maintain their focus, make adjustments, and turn every match into a valuable experience amid continuous high-intensity exchanges?

From São Paulo to Santos, from Palmeiras to Bahia and Vitória, every opponent the young players faced in Brazil reflected something different. In those mirrors, the young players were gradually growing.

On June 21, the Brazil leg of the trip came to a close. In the afternoon, the young players went to the beach for training.

Compared with training at the previous official stadiums, the beach session was a bit more relaxed and had a bit more Brazilian flavor. With sand underfoot and the sea breeze in their ears, this was perhaps one of their most direct memories of Brazil: football can happen on the pitch, but also by the sea, in the streets, and wherever anyone who loves it may be.

Late that night, the young players departed for Mexico, officially bringing the Brazilian leg of their journey to an end.

This trip to Brazil featured intense matches, regrettable results, and valuable exchanges. The young players experienced the gap firsthand, gained valuable experience, felt the freedom and agility of Samba football, and came to understand the long-term strength built by its football culture.

Throughout this trip to the Americas, BYD has continuously supported the Chinese youth footballers. From competitive exchanges and club visits to factory experiences and cross-cultural connections, BYD hopes to enable more Chinese youth footballers to go global through the "Youth Footballers" IP.

The journey in Brazil has come to an end, but this is not the finish line, and the true climax has yet to be reached.

Next stop: Mexico. The young players are set to continue racing towards new tracks, and the FIFA World Cup is getting closer and closer…
