According to Italy's "Corriere della Sera", following Andrea Beretta, former Internazionale ultra leader Marco Ferdico has also pleaded guilty.

Three interrogation transcripts, preemptively disclosed by "Corriere della Sera", show that the 41-year-old man on trial for the murder of Vittorio Boiocchi not only admitted his role in the October 29, 2022 murder – the former leader of the "Boys San" organization was shot dead outside his home before Inter's match against Sampdoria – but also described the roles of other participants in the attack and the influence of the 'Ndrangheta among the organized fans at San Siro.

Ferdico wrote in the transcripts: "To control the Curva Nord of Milan, you need the 'Ndrangheta, that's what I told him, and Beretta can corroborate that." These interrogations took place on May 30, June 9, and June 22, 2026, respectively, with Ferdico testifying before prosecutors Paolo Storari and Stefano Amendola, accompanied by his lawyer Francesco Provenzano.

As the former head of social media affairs for the Curva Nord, Ferdico had previously been sentenced to nine years for criminal association with mafia aggravating circumstances. He also spoke about co-defendant Mauro Nisi, a former chants leader for the Curva Nord, who is the only one allowed to apply for a summary trial, with his trial starting on Tuesday, July 7. Ferdico said: "Nisi was eager to get this done. He came to me many times saying, 'When are we doing this? When are we doing this,' and he said the same thing to Beretta."
