On July 6,Haaland scored twice to help Norway eliminate Brazil 2-1 and advance to the FIFA World Cup quarterfinals for the first time in their history.

Haaland said: "I really can't quite believe it."

"I never thought in my life it would be like this. I dreamed of representing Norway in the FIFA World Cup, but honestly, I never dreamed of beating Brazil."

Norway have now reached the quarterfinals, having previously defeated Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, and Brazil. The team are full of confidence, and Haaland does not think this journey is over yet.

Haaland said: "We have been growing, and the way we played today proves that Norway is a very good team; we are actually one of the better teams in Europe and worldwide."
