Milan and Lazio are currently negotiating the transfer of Mario Gila, with a gap still remaining between their respective bids.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito is holding firm on a €30 million asking price, without bonuses, while Milan has offered €25 million plus €5 million in bonuses. This offer has not yet met Lazio's demands. Therefore, Milan will need to adjust its bid to try and close the deal.

Meanwhile, outside Milan headquarters, the agent of the Spanish defender, Camano, was interviewed after meeting with Milan's top brass. When stopped by reporters, he commented on the meeting: "How did the meeting go? As usual, all meetings with Italian clubs are very pleasant."

Later, discussing Gila's transfer negotiations, Camano added: "Optimistic about Gila joining Milan? There are many names, many negotiations underway, and we are working hard."
