According to MilanNews.it, Milan still has confidence in Mario Gila, and Leao has also been recommended to Roma.

According to Claudio Raimondi of Sport Mediaset and Italia Uno, although Lazio rejected Milan's initial offer of €22 million for Mario Gila, the Rossoneri still believe they can finalize the deal in the coming days.

Lazio is asking for around €30 million, and a key to negotiations could be the inclusion of Lorenzo Calvani, a right-back from Lazio's 2008 youth team. Milanello is optimistic about reaching an agreement, and the Spanish defender himself has already given his consent to join Milan.

Meanwhile, Milan is still monitoring the situation of Rafael Leao internally. The Portuguese player has finished his World Cup journey and can now consider his future. The forward is reportedly recommended to Roma, and Milan is willing to let him go, but possibly through a loan with a mandatory purchase option. There are currently no offers from the Premier League, which Leao still prefers as a destination; Barcelona is also following him, but so far, it's only at the inquiry stage.
