According to the latest report by journalist Daniele Longo, Milan is very interested in Genk youngster Karetsas, and Genk's initial asking price is 35 million euros.

Reportedly, on November 27, Milan sent scouts to watch Genk's Europa League match against Basel, where Karetsas scored the winning goal, helping the team to a 2-0 victory. However, his ability goes far beyond that: he is a truly pure, powerful, and talented player.

Last season, he made 25 appearances for Genk in the Belgian league, scoring two goals. This season, he has not yet scored in the Belgian First Division A (two goals in the Europa League) but has already contributed 10 assists, which has become his signature characteristic.

His playing style is characterized by sudden runs, precise passes, and one-on-one breakthroughs. He is a playmaker but can also initiate attacks from the right wing and create chances in the middle.

It is too early for official negotiations, but Milan's pursuit of Karetsas has been going on for several weeks. His talent is highly favored by scouts, and despite not perfectly fitting Allegri's 3-5-2 formation in terms of tactical philosophy, scouts are still strongly recommending his signing.

However, he remains very attractive and has great potential for development to become a versatile player. Milan had also recently shown interest in Red Star Belgrade star Kostov, born in 2008, but Inter seems to be leading the race.

Genk has always been good at selling players, often achieving good results. Their goal is to maximize profits now to avoid future regrets. Karetsas' contract with the club expires in 2029, and his value has already exceeded 30 million euros.

Genk's initial asking price for him is as high as 35 million euros. Milan has been informed and will decide in the coming weeks whether to sign this player, who is highly favored by the club's management.
