Reportedly, several members of the Norway national team have been affected by the team's frequent trips to the training camp in Greensboro, North Carolina. On Monday evening local time, the delegation traveled to Miami after visiting Boston (twice), New Jersey (twice), and Dallas.
Solbakken, who had a severe cough before the match against France, is also currently affected. Jurgen-Larsen missed a training session before the match against Iraq, and Marcus Pedersen withdrew from the squad against Brazil due to illness.
There are slight concerns about the overall health of the team, as some players are feeling unwell. However, head coach Solbakken believes this is not a viral infection but general fatigue caused by frequent and long transfers.
He said: "Only Larsen has a fever, and a few others have coughs and hoarse voices, but there are also factors like air conditioning, flights, and locker rooms. We have over fifty people, so it's not surprising if one or two are not feeling well."
