On July 7, Bayern officially announced that Arjen Ibrahimovic has been officially included in the first team, and he will wear the No. 22 jersey in the new season.

Official Announcement
Bayern Munich plans to officially include attacking player Arjen Ibrahimovic in head coach Vincent Kompany's first-team squad for the new season. The player played on loan for Heidenheim last season.
Arjen Ibrahimovic, 20, has been with Bayern since 2018, and his contract with the club runs until June 30, 2028 (Note: the original contract expired at the end of June 2027).
Before joining Heidenheim, he also gained experience playing for Serie A teams Frosinone and Lazio. In the new season, he will wear the No. 22 jersey.
Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund said: "Arjen joined Bayern at the age of 12 and has come a long way through our youth academy and carefully arranged loan spells. Especially in his excellent season at Heidenheim, he gained a lot personally and is now ready to play for Bayern. His development path is an example of the growth platform we can provide for young players. Now, it's not just about learning for him, but about making an impact at Bayern."
Ibrahimovic joined the Bayern youth academy from Nuremberg at the age of 12 and successfully made it to the first team through his performance with Bayern's second team. In February 2023, he made his Bayern first-team debut at the age of 17 in a match against Bochum. Last season, while playing for Heidenheim, he played 34 official matches, contributing 2 goals and 5 assists. In November last year, he made his first appearance for the German U21 national team and has now made a total of 2 appearances.
