AC Milan have reportedly agreed a deal with Lazio to sign defender Mario Gila, with former club Real Madrid also set for a pay day.

The 25-year-old has been a key player for Lazio since joining from Real Madrid back in 2022, making 120 appearances across all competitions.

Per Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan have now agreed a €30 million deal to sign Gila, with his former club set to receive 50% of the fee.

Real Madrid have made a habit of including such clauses in any sales, much like the one in now Liverpool winger Victor Munoz’s deal with Osasuna.

It’s understood that the centre back has agreed to a five-year deal at AC Milan and will become the second signing of the Ruben Amorim era.
