Local time on July 7th, the Belgian national team officially announced that Amadou Onana suffered an ACL tear.

The Belgian national team officially stated: "Medical examinations have confirmed that Amadou Onana has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear. We are with you, Amadou! 🫶"

In the previous match between Belgium and the United States, Amadou Onana was injured and forced to leave the field in the 21st minute. He was later seen using crutches with a brace on his right knee.
