Roma have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign Alejandro Garnacho after learning Chelsea\'s conditions for a potential deal.

The 22-year-old only joined Chelsea from Man United for a reported £40 million fee last season but struggled in West London.

Garnacho scored just eight goals and provided four assists in his 43 games across all competitions as Chelsea finished down in tenth.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Serie A side Roma had been interested in a deal for the winger, but no longer.

It’s understood that Chelsea will only let Garnacho leave on a permanent basis while Roma were only willing to move forward with a loan.

Chelsea have since informed them that such a deal won’t be possible, and in turn, Roma have pulled out of the race.
