According to Sky Germany reporter Plettenberg, Klopp's initial discussions regarding coaching the German national team are currently underway in New York.

It is revealed that the first negotiations between Klopp and his agent Marc Kosicke, and the German Football Association (DFB), are currently taking place in New York. The DFB representatives include Bernd Neuendorf and Hans-Joachim Watzke.

Reportedly, the final negotiations between the DFB and Red Bull are scheduled to take place in New York early next week, between Watzke and Oliver Mintzlaff.

It is understood that everything is progressing smoothly. An official announcement will be made once all matters are finalized, though some work remains to be done.
