Fiorentina have secured the signing of Arthur Atta from Udinese for a reported club record fee.

Following a disappointing 15th place Serie A finish in 2025-26, Fiorentina are splashing the cash to ensure it doesn’t happen again under new manager Fabio Grosso.

Fiorentina have now smashed their transfer record by finalising a deal worth up to €40m to sign Atta from Udinese.

Atta joined Udinese, on an initial loan, from French side Metz in 2024, going on to make 59 league appearances for the club, scoring five goals and assisting four.

It’s understood Grosso’s side will pay an initial €30m fee for the 23-year-old, with a further €10m due in add-ons, becoming the most expensive signing in the club’s history.
