Lazio are reportedly considering a move to sign former Real Madrid star and current free agent James Rodriguez.

The 35-year-old remains a key part of the Colombia squad, featuring in all five of their 2026 World Cup games without providing a single goal contribution.

Rodriguez’s most recent club spell was with MLS side Minnesota United, where he made eight appearances, providing two assists and scoring zero goals.

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Serie A side Lazio are considering a move for the veteran attacking midfielder.

The former Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Everton ace hasn’t played in Europe since a short-lived spell at Rayo Vallecano in 2024-25.
