According to Italian journalist Daniele Longo, Milan plans to raise funds by selling Estupiñán and then signing Mazraoui.

Milan is reportedly aiming to sign Mazraoui to strengthen their wing, as he can play on both the left and right flanks. At the Milanello training camp, Amorim had long discussions with Cardinale, Gardner, and Almstadt about transfers. Among the many key points discussed was the team's need to acquire a versatile player who can operate on both wings in a four-midfielder system.

Mazraoui is highly sought after to bolster the wing. Ibrahimović knows him very well, as they have worked together throughout his career, and Ibrahimović greatly appreciates Mazraoui's versatility, as he can play on both the left and right. Ibrahimović himself is one of Mazraoui's supporters: he has known Mazraoui for a long time and speaks highly of him, including his performance in the World Cup.

Milan's plan is clear: sell Estupiñán and use the proceeds to start pursuing Mazraoui. Currently, Milan is negotiating with Villa for Estupiñán's transfer. Since he is not in the team's plans, his departure is certain. Milan's asking price is 20 million euros, but Villa plans to reduce the expenditure. Estupiñán was specifically requested by Emery, and both parties are optimistic about reaching an agreement.

Once Estupiñán is sold (Milan hopes to resolve this as soon as possible), Cardinale will turn to negotiations with Manchester United, who do not seem keen on selling Mazraoui. Therefore, understanding the player's wishes is crucial: if Manchester United is willing to let him go, then it will ultimately be up to the player to decide whether to transfer to Milan.
