According to Bild, Nuremberg has generated over 12 million euros in sales this summer through multiple transfers, which has also raised the club's asking price for players.

Fabio Gruber transferred to Mainz for over 3 million euros, Luca Lochoshvili joined Cologne for close to 5 million euros, and former player Nathaniel Brown's transfer to Bayern brought in an additional 4.4 million euros. Coupled with potential bonuses from Frankfurt star Can Uzun this summer, Nuremberg's position in the transfer market has significantly improved.

This is also reflected in the club's asking price for players like Mohamed Ali Zoma and Adam Makijev. Sporting Director Joti Chatzialexiou said: "This is very helpful. Compared to two years ago, our conditions are different now. Back then, we were forced to sell players to keep everything running. Now we have a different starting point."

Chatzialexiou also conveyed this attitude to clubs interested in Zoma and others: "The good thing is that when I give some numbers, some people stop calling. But there are still initial inquiries."

This situation is likely to continue until the transfer window closes. Therefore, Chatzialexiou does not rule out the possibility of selling a key player at the last minute. This is because there is no internal deadline set for the club to finalize plans before the official closing of the window on September 1. Nuremberg's management stated: "In these matters, I always say never say never, because in the end, a high offer might come in, just like Caspar last year. We had clear expectations then, and they were met." Caspar Jendel did not join Southampton for 12 million euros until the end of August last year. It was precisely because of that sale in the final phase of the summer window that Nuremberg experienced a hectic transfer period in the last week, signing six new players in one go, including Makijev and Grimaldi.
