According to reports from renowned Italian journalist Romano, Schalke 04 has reached an agreement with Fiorentina to sign Gosens, and the deal is confirmed with a "Here we go."

According to Romano, Schalke 04 will acquire 32-year-old Gosens from Fiorentina on a loan-with-mandatory-option-to-buy deal worth a total of €2.5 million. During the loan period, they will fully cover the German star's salary, and the deal also includes bonus clauses. All parties are expected to finalize the signing this week.

Gosens made 36 appearances for Fiorentina last season, contributing 4 goals and 3 assists.
