Manchester United midfielder Mainoo fulfilled the dream of an England fan suffering from frontotemporal dementia, arranging tickets for him to watch England's FIFA World Cup semi-final against Argentina after seeing his post on social media seeking tickets for the match.

Jordan and his brother Kane are well-known throughout the UK for raising awareness and funds for frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Both brothers inherited the condition and will develop it in the future. Jordan previously revealed that his mother suffered from the disease, and doctors told him he would likely develop the same condition in his forties.

Before England's FIFA World Cup semi-final against Argentina, Jordan posted a moving message stating that he had spent all his savings on a flight to Atlanta, hoping to secure tickets for the match.

He wrote: "In the next 32 hours, can I get a ticket?

I'm about to fly to Atlanta, with the dream of watching England in the FIFA World Cup semi-final live.

Eight years ago, doctors told me that I would reach the end of my life in my forties, and that the dementia I fought alongside my mother would take my life.

Since then, I've decided to live each day to the fullest, hoping to leave no regrets when I pass away. When Jude Bellingham led the team to the FIFA World Cup semi-final against Argentina, I immediately discussed it with my wife Agnes Adams, spent every last penny, and booked two tickets to Atlanta.

I know this period has been one of the best weeks of my life, and I understand that I am very lucky in many ways. But being able to watch the game live is the best answer to my 15-year-old self, who was depressed and wanted to give up on life – that as long as you have big dreams and chase them with all your might, anything is possible.

Even if I don't get a ticket in the end, this incident is a reminder to everyone: even if you're destined to miss the bus, run hard to catch it. I often say, when life ends, leave no regrets. Life is short, and death is inevitable.

I will never succumb to dementia, even though fate has given my family such a cruel ordeal. To hell with dementia, love endures. Let's witness the power of social media once again."

Kobbie Mainoo quickly saw the post and replied concisely but powerfully: "Brother, I've got you."

The Manchester United midfielder personally arranged tickets for Jordan, allowing him to attend England's FIFA World Cup semi-final against Argentina.

The England team is striving to reach its first FIFA World Cup final since winning the tournament in 1966. If the Three Lions successfully advance, their opponent in the final will be Spain.
