According to Italian media Ilromanista, Roma club employees have declared a union protest after 42 employees were transferred to official stores.

After 42 professional employees were transferred to Roma's official stores, staff from various departments announced a union protest.
On Monday, local time, at the Trigoria training center where the team gathered, Roma club employees held a general assembly and declared a state of protest, a form of union protest that typically precedes a strike.
This decision was made because 42 out of approximately 300 employees were suddenly transferred to Roma's official stores. They originally came from completely different departments, including marketing, ticketing, administration, and media. Many highly qualified, senior, and experienced employees unexpectedly became store clerks. Therefore, the employees issued an announcement, and the following are the reasons they provided:
Employees stated: "The reassignment has profoundly changed the job content for many employees, risking the waste of years of accumulated professional skills and experience. Furthermore, the criteria for determining the affected employees have not been explained, and these criteria appear to be neither transparent enough nor adequately verifiable."
Employees also stated: "The employee assembly revealed strong unease and disappointment among both male and female employees, who believe these decisions have significantly impacted their career paths and the trust relationship established with the club. In addition, issues still exist regarding health and safety, particularly concerning training, risk assessment, and working conditions in some stores."
