I imagine you must be very happy right now. The team completed a comeback and defeated England. How are you feeling now? What are your thoughts at this moment?

Honestly, I'm extremely happy. This team is truly incredible, and I'm incredibly proud to be part of this team, this family. We played in a way that best reflects our characteristics, fighting for victory with our football. I stuck with our style of play until the last moment. In the end, we got the result we wanted.

The team's performance in the second half was indeed excellent, hitting the post twice and completely dominating England, wasn't it?

Yes, that was exactly the game plan we wanted to implement from the beginning. Of course, in a FIFA World Cup semi-final, sometimes you need to observe the opponent first to see what approach they will take. They mainly tried to get the ball in behind us with long passes. Later, once we cut off their attacking lines, I think we had a very clear advantage on the field.

We always stuck to our style, controlling the ball on the ground and passing it around. Every player actively asked for the ball, and that makes me very proud. That’s football; you have to show personality, play with determination and confidence, and cast fear aside.

What do you think of Spain, your opponent in the final?

Without a doubt, the final will be a very exciting match. However, we have only just qualified, so let’s enjoy this moment first. After that, of course, we will start thinking about Spain. They have many excellent players and strong overall teamwork, but we will analyze them later.

The streets across Argentina must be in a frenzy right now, both in Buenos Aires and elsewhere in the country. What comes to mind when I say that?

Many things come to mind. I just had a video call with my family, and it’s absolutely crazy over there. I just hope everyone enjoys this moment, continues to be united as they are now, and also takes care of themselves.
