Official Announcement

Paris FC is delighted to announce the official return of defender Diego Coppola from Brighton & Hove Albion in England. The Italian international has signed with the club until 2031.

Coppola was born in Bussolengo, Italy, and came through the Hellas Verona youth academy. In 2021, he made his professional debut there and quickly established himself as a first-team regular. From a young age, he was regarded as a promising talent in his position, being called up to various Italian youth national teams, and in June 2025, he successfully made it into the Italian senior national team.

After four full seasons in Serie A, Coppola moved to England a year ago to join Brighton & Hove Albion. In January 2026, he joined Paris FC on loan, seeking further development. In six months, the defender's performance was outstanding, making him one of the most efficient players in his position in Ligue 1.

Impressed by the ambition of Paris FC and the team's steadily rising momentum, Diego Coppola chose to continue playing in the capital. His official return perfectly aligns with the club's long-term squad building plan: to rely heavily on outstanding young talents, allow players to grow with the team, and help the club pursue its goals.

Welcome home, Diego!
