Recent media reports have suggested that Manchester United are interested in signing Brazilian left-back Carlos Augusto this summer. Ben Jacobs' report points out that the Red Devils had already inquired about the possibility of signing Carlos Augusto as early as April this year, when Roma and Atalanta also made inquiries about the Brazilian international.

However, the report also pointed out that Internazionale is clear about keeping Carlos Augusto, as they regard the defensive star as an important asset to the team.
