According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Coventry are monitoring Milan defender Tomori. Tomori has been with Milan since January 2021, and his current contract is set to expire in 2027. He is also one of the players who could leave the Rossoneri this summer.

Reports suggest that Coventry manager Frank Lampard hopes to coach Tomori again and is working to convince the defender to join. The two previously worked together at Derby County and Chelsea.

Former Aston Villa CEO Keith Wyness told Football Insider: "I feel like Lampard is pushing very hard behind the scenes for this deal. Coventry need to strengthen their squad with new signings."

However, Wyness also pointed out that convincing Tomori to join a newly promoted Premier League team would not be easy. Coventry's primary goal for the new season, after returning to England's top flight after 25 years, will be to avoid relegation.
