According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, two Premier League clubs, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest, have inquired about Fiorentina right-back Dodô.

Dodô, 27, has been with Fiorentina since 2022, and his contract with the Viola is set to expire in less than a year. Therefore, the player is expected to leave the team this summer. Fiorentina's sporting director Fabio Paratici has already prepared by signing Spanish right-back Alex Jiménez as a replacement.
Currently, the timing of Dodô's departure and the specific transfer method are still uncertain. Previously, Napoli, Roma, and Inter Milan had all made contact with the player, but no substantial progress has been made yet.
Recently, the Premier League has emerged as a potential new destination for Dodô. Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest have both shown interest in the Brazilian full-back, with Forest also having his former Fiorentina teammate Milenković in their squad.
However, this deal not only needs to meet the player's personal demands but also needs to be approved by Fiorentina. It is reported that the Viola hopes to receive a transfer fee of approximately 16 to 17 million euros from selling Dodô.
