Manzambi gave his first official interview as a Villa player after completing his transfer from Freiburg.

Manzambi enjoyed an excellent World Cup this summer, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists for Switzerland. He also had a breakthrough season at Freiburg, performing brilliantly in both the Bundesliga and European competitions.

"I'm very excited to play for this club," Manzambi said. "This is a big club in England, and they're competing in the Champions League. I've played against Aston Villa before, and this is the perfect opportunity for me. I hope to perform at Villa the same way I did at the World Cup and Freiburg. With the help of my teammates, the coach, and the staff, I believe I can do it."

Manzambi has demonstrated versatility throughout his career—he showed attacking flair at the World Cup, while at Freiburg he often played in a deeper role, highlighting his defensive abilities. He's looking forward to bringing these qualities to Villa under Emery.
