Vieri praised Lautaro's team spirit at the new Internazionale jersey launch event, but denied that the two shared similar characteristics.

Vieri said in an exclusive interview with Sportitalia at the event: "Lautaro like me? No, he's younger than me. But he's very strong. He has team spirit and an incredible love for the jersey. It's hard to beat them." Vieri was obviously referring to Argentina's performance in the FIFA World Cup, where the Albiceleste qualified for the final. They won the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
