Here we go! According to renowned journalist Romano, Chelsea have successfully hijacked and will sign Morgan Rogers for £117 million.

The Athletic's famous reporter David Ornstein first reported that Chelsea and Villa reached a verbal agreement for the £117 million signing of Morgan Rogers.

Journalist Romano then confirmed the deal with his signature "Here we go."

Romano stated: "Chelsea have reached a transfer agreement with Aston Villa today, completing the deal before Arsenal made an official offer.

As David Ornstein previously reported, Chelsea's bid of £117 million has been accepted by Aston Villa.

Chelsea have also agreed personal terms with Morgan Rogers, and the two sides will sign a contract until June 2032."
