According to journalist Achraf Ben Ayad, Barcelona will focus on signing Alvarez in the coming days.

The journalist wrote: "Barcelona will now fully focus on the acquisition of Alvarez, and the next few days will be a critical period to determine the next steps."

"If there is no new progress, the club will consider other alternatives."
