According to MilanNews.it, Alessandra Gozzini, a journalist for La Gazzetta dello Sport, was interviewed by MilanVibes, discussing Amorim and Milan.

Do you expect someone to stand alongside Amorim at Milanello and after matches?
"I certainly don't think Calvelli would be that person; he strikes me as more reserved. For now, the person who could fill this role might be Cardinale, and of course, Ibrahimović. These two, especially the Swede, could act as representatives for the Portuguese coach when there's a need to speak to players and the media. I think Ibrahimović is more suited to play a role in this aspect rather than in transfer market matters."
What was the initial reaction of the players to the Portuguese coach?
"The players accepted the new coach with curiosity and engagement. According to external sources, the team reciprocated the enthusiasm Amorim has brought since arriving at Milan. I believe this is the necessary foundation to start a new cycle. This was not the case with the previous two Portuguese coaches, Fonseca and Conceição."
Will he surprise everyone by speaking Italian at the press conference?
"His desire is to learn the language as quickly as possible. He is studying for this. As far as I know, he wants to master Italian in a very short time. For me, this is another side of his 'passion,' because in an international team, if the club is foreign-owned and there aren't many Italian players, you might feel that learning the language can be secondary, but for him, it's a priority for him to fully integrate here."
