Manchester United have announced the signing of 18-year-old Tynan Thompson from Tottenham.

The deal is said to be worth up to £8m, with £4m in guaranteed fees, plus a further £4m in add-ons, depending on his senior progress.
Thompson netted 13 goals and registered six assists across Spurs' Under-18 to Under-21 levels last season.
Seven of those goals came across seven appearances in the UEFA Youth League.
We are delighted to announce the signing of Tynan Thompson from Tottenham.

Welcome to United, Ty!
Having been training with Spurs' first team since 2025, Thompson was included on the bench for senior Champions League matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund, though he never made an appearance.
He came through the Spurs academy playing as a left winger, and is expected to link up with Michael Carrick's first team.
