I support the club extending Caicedo, Enzo, and James’s holidays—either they have pre-existing injuries or were overly fatigued last season; when fit, they’re essentially undisputed first-team starters, so extra rest is beneficial. As for Punderson, I personally hope he returns early, as he has a genuine chance to break into the starting lineup next season; he didn’t play a single minute at the World Cup, and an early return would leave a strong impression on Longge. Gusto, in theory, should also return early—he delivered a poor performance in his sole appearance, and with Palé now arriving to compete for the same position, the competition is intense. Yet given his personality, he’s highly unlikely to return ahead of schedule.
