Meret aims to help Napoli achieve a great season and progress in the Champions League

During the Dimaro training camp, Meret expressed his full confidence in Napoli and emphasized his desire to achieve more victories in the new season.

What are the differences between Allegri and Conte?

"It's too early to talk about the differences between Allegri and Conte; we've only been here a few days. Conte places great emphasis on focus during training and aims to minimize technical errors, because in his view, every technical action can decide a match or even affect an entire season. Right now, we're focused on finding our rhythm in ball possession," Meret said.

How do you evaluate your experience at Napoli?

"I arrived here very young, and I never imagined I could win two Serie A titles. There have been many highlights and some difficult moments, but I've always approached everything with professionalism and a commitment to continuous improvement. I'm very grateful for this journey, and I'm equally excited to make a fresh start here. The 2020 Coppa Italia? That's a wonderful memory and extremely special, but each trophy holds the same significance—they're all special in their own way."

What is your next objective?

"Of course, it's to have a great season and bring joy back to our fans. For me personally, that means playing as many matches as possible and supporting my teammates. In every competition, we must aim to be at the forefront—we shouldn't limit ourselves. We'll give our absolute best and see what happens. As for the Champions League, it's crucial to progress further. Unfortunately, we were knocked out early last season, so advancing further in the Champions League this year is our goal, and we must achieve it."

"I'm very happy here. If the coach and club continue to trust me, I'd be delighted to continue this wonderful experience. I can feel that trust; I'm very motivated and determined to perform well, just like everyone else."
