In an interview with Sky Sport Italia, Filip Stankovic discussed his growth since joining Venezia.

The former Inter goalkeeper thanked Stankovic and the coaching staff for the improvements they have brought over the years. "Coach Stankovic has made me try many new ways of dealing with things that I didn't see before. He has opened up new horizons for me, and I am really happy to work with him and the coaching staff, who have helped me grow in these aspects, including footwork and building up play from the back."

"Goalkeeper benchmarks? For me, my idol has always been Julio Cesar, but later I also always looked up to Handanovic. I trained with him for two or three years, and every day training with him was a lesson. I tried to learn as much as possible, whether it was goalkeeping or footwork, and even off the field, because he is a very professional player. I like people who are the first to arrive at training and the last to leave. He pays attention to every detail, and I also want to try to be like him."
