According to the latest reports from The Athletic's renowned journalist Ornstein and Villa reporter Jacob Tanswell, Aston Villa is in talks with Chelsea for the transfer of Garnacho, with the current proposal being a loan with an option to buy clause.

Villa is reportedly in advanced talks with Chelsea to sign Garnacho, with the proposed deal being a season-long loan with a conditional compulsory purchase clause, but details are still subject to change and no agreement has been reached yet.
Emery is a big admirer of the 22-year-old Garnacho. Last summer, before Garnacho joined Chelsea from Manchester United, Emery had already shown interest in him, and this time, Emery is strongly pushing for this transfer to happen.
Roma has also expressed interest in signing Garnacho, but Villa believes that through Emery, they have successfully persuaded the player to join. This deal is separate from the agreement for Morgan Rogers to join Chelsea for £117 million.
