On July 22, according to Brazilian media reports, Neymar attended the Brazil Poker Series BSOP Winter event on the same night Santos played in the Copa Sudamericana.

Neymar attended the BSOP Winter event, a stop on the Brazilian Poker Series, on the evening of the 21st local time. Due to his absence, Santos were without their star striker for this round's Copa Sudamericana match against Universidad Central de Venezuela.
BSOP's official social media posted a video of Neymar at the event. The tournament began on the 21st at a hotel in São Paulo and will continue until the 30th.
Neymar reported to Santos on July 17 after the World Cup. Last Saturday, he took part in a full team training session. Santos FC plans to have Neymar return for this weekend’s Brasileirão match against Chapecoense, which will be played at Vila Belmiro on Saturday, but the coaching staff will not rush him onto the field.
Santos were also without Gabigol in this match, as the forward was experiencing adductor muscle pain.
The match against Universidad Central de Venezuela was the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana Round of 16 playoffs. The second leg will be played at Vila Belmiro stadium on the 28th.
Neymar's contract with Santos expires on December 31st this year. He returned to his boyhood club in January last year.
