Adeyemi gave an interview to the media after joining Barcelona.

Adeyemi said: "Expectations are high. I have come to the best club in the world, and I hope to prove to the coach and the fans that I deserve to play for Barcelona."

When asked whether competing for the Champions League title was his motivation, Adeyemi made it clear that this European competition was "very important, but not the only goal."

"At Barcelona, every match is very important, and I will do my best to help the team compete for the Champions League and all the trophies that can be contested."
