Mourinho returned to Real Madrid this summer, and former Real Madrid player Pedro Leon, who had a conflict with Mourinho at Real Madrid, recently recalled the events of that time.

Pedro Leon stated that he still doesn't understand how his conflict with Mourinho began.

Pedro Leon said: "The first time I had a conflict with Mourinho was during the match against Levante. Before that, there were no problems between us. We drew with Levante, and I played for twenty or thirty minutes. I felt I played well, and in fact, all the media said so. But what the media says doesn't matter, I can tell you myself that I played well that day. But Mourinho said I played very badly. Maybe there were times when I played very badly in other games, but that game was definitely not one of them."

"To this day, I don't know where my conflict with Mourinho came from. We had several very tense conversations later. In January, Chelsea made me an offer, and basically everything was settled, but Mourinho didn't allow me to leave. He forcibly kept me, but he didn't let me play. I hardly played for the next half season, only getting a few sporadic minutes at the end of the season."

"I was only 22 at the time and had no experience dealing with such a situation. I could only try to get through it in the best possible way. Obviously, that period was very difficult, but with the support of my family and friends, I eventually got through that year."
